Polycom CX5000 Unified Conference Station





Description:


Polycom CX5000 Unified Conference Station is a creative tool which easily adds voice & video collaboration to MS Live meeting 2007 & MS Communications server 2007, giving remote participants a 360-degree panoramic view of the conference room and video that automatically tracks the flow of conversation for more productive and efficient meetings.


Features:

The Polycom CX5000 Unified Conference Station is portable. It has nearly 3 kg weight. A 360-degree panoramic view of the entire room is sent to all far-end participants, providing a continuous view of everyone in the meeting room. This panoramic view video has 1056 x 144 pixel resolution & 3700 x 600 pixel camera resolution.




Moreover, it offers two options of frame rate for panoramic & active speaker video: 15 frames per second with 60 Hz AC –power & 12.5 frames per second with 50 Hz AC –power.

The Polycom CX5000 comes with high-resolution backlit graphical touch LCD, which has 12-key telephone keypad, Information navigation keys & delete key. In addition, it has various hard keys such as: On-hook/off-hook, flash, mute, volume up, volume down & information keys. It has also a console Loudspeaker powered with 300 Hz - 3.4 kHz Frequency response & with adjustable volume to 89 dBA SPL (peak) volume at 0.5 meters. You can also connect up to 6 full duplex directional microphones.

This Unified Conference Station has many different interfaces such as:
  • USB 2.0 device cable
  • 2 USB host ports
  • 2 satellite microphone connections

  • Data: RJ-45 10/100 Ethernet for system management
  • Software download mode

There are many environment requirements should be offered for this unique Unified Conference Station, for example we should operate the temperature from 0o – 40o C & operate the humidity from 15 % - 85%. To use the Polycom CX5000, the room reverberation time should be less than 0.01 seconds. In system requirements we should use:
  • Microsoft Windows XP, 32-bit with service pack 2 (SP2) or later, or Windows Vista, 32- or 64-bit.
  • 2.0 GHz or faster processor
  • 2 GB of RAM or more
  • 1.5 GB of available hard disk space
  • Video card with 128 MB of RAM or more and support for full hardware acceleration
  • 1024 x 768 or higher resolution video card and monitor
  • Wired Ethernet connection

Open Acadia





We have find Open Acadia University , which offers learning opportunities to Acadia students & the greater community. It was known as the Division of Continuing & distance Education. However it became Open Acadia to better convey the breadth of its audiences and programs.

About its policies, To become an ALL member or to register for a course, seminar or outing, you must be 50+ years of age.
